NGK has released a pair of new catalogues covering its spark plug and ignition lead ranges.

The new look spark plug catalogue covers passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motor cycles and scooters, with an increase of 135 newly listed models from last year's version.

The major change is the improved layout, giving readers a clearer listing of engine codes, cylinders and kiloWatts, manufacturing to and from dates plus the performance option showing the corresponding Iridium part numbers.

Also included is a new blister-pack column, giving retail customers a simple two digit code required to locate their four or six-piece blister card packs.

Tackle your NGK rep for a copy or check out the updated website for all your NGK applications and cross reference needs.

The 2003 version of National Parts Engine Parts Catalogue has been released to the trade.

At 754 pages, the new book is a complete engine parts catalogue and is the entire print-out of National Parts' latest Dataseeker CD.

With that in mind, you'll find everything from ACL's locally made range to the many imported components stocked, including cylinder head and timing components.

The catalogue is primarily aimed at engine specialists, so the emphasis is by engine type.

To ensure quick identification, the front index of all engines is in order by both alphabet and capacity. Further on in the catalogue is the make and model information.

You'll also find plenty of information on performance engineering with useful reference to pistons, gaskets and bearings. There's also a comprehensive listing at the back for PowerMax valves, valve guides and Tucker valve seat inserts.

The first release is none other than Larry Perkins, and he'll be followed by Peter Brock, Dick Johnson, Alan Moffat and Jim Richards.
