BOSCH SPARK PLUGS PROVE A WINNER AT THE 2009 AAA EXPO/font>
| The Bosch Automotive Aftermarket team is very proud to have been presented with the Bronze award in the coveted “Marketing Excellence” category, presented at the official Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association Industry Awards dinner on the 2nd April 2009.
The award reflects the restructured Bosch spark plug program which features three distinct levels of product performance and value for money. The new Bosch program consists of Super Plus, Platinum Plus and Fusion spark plugs, all of which are now available in high quality blister packaging to increase retail appeal.
“The revised Bosch spark plug program is the result of significant market research”, stated Bosch’s Marketing Manager, Rolf Schillinger. “This award and the growing market acceptance of our new three tiered offer demonstrates that we are on the right track to deliver better value for our customers”.
This year’s Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo proved to be very successful for Bosch. The attendance of more than 8000 people over the three days gave Bosch the opportunity to provide workshops with information on how best to make profit.

It also saw the launch of the new Bosch battery range, the new Bosch LPG spark plug range and the new Bosch KTS 340 diagnostic scan tool. All three new products drew a lot of interest from attendees, as did the series of profit information sessions held at the Bosch stand.
All the Bosch information and training sessions held were focused on providing workshops with the knowledge and tools needed to become more profitable. The sessions on; diagnostics in the workshop, the servicing of oxygen sensors, market developments in ESP and the ease of servicing ABS proved to be the very popular. Bosch will continue to provide workshops with crucial knowledge and the tools to be able to increase profits within their own businesses through publications such as the Bosch Future Workshop newspaper, trade magazines, training and information sessions.
