The Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest automotive
aftermarket program groups in the U.S. with over $US2 billion annual sales
throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. National Parts joined the
Network after years of sharing program ideas with the Parts Plus retail
association.
CEO of National Parts, Ivan James, says the agreement will ensure the
business¹ chain of 170 Autopro retail member stores throughout Australia now
has many advantages, including the input of the the latest ideas and trends.
"Although there are differences in our marketplaces, we¹re effectively
implementing aspects of the Parts Plus autostore and Car Care Centre
programs into our current Autopro toolbox and vice-versa," James says. "We
look forward to continue working not only with the Network¹s 2,500 Parts
Plus¹ stores, but also with the Independent Auto Parts of America (IAPA)
which is part of the Automotive Distribution Network.

The president of the Automotive Distribution Network, Mike Lambert, says
from his Memphis head office: "This is an excellent opportunity for the
Network to expand on an international level with National Parts which is
the largest automotive marketing group in Australia. Much like the Network¹s
Parts Plus and IAPA programs, National Parts¹ Autopro marketing program
provides independently owned auto stores with all the business tools and
marketing programs needed to succeed in today¹s competitive environment.
"This new alliance creates many opportunities, we¹ll be making the most of
them and we are confident that Autopro and Parts Plus members will be the
winners." Jarrett said.
